Instructions

Heat the whole milk in a bowl/pot to approx.
30
°C
and dissolve the yeast in it.
160 ml whole milk
7 g instant yeast

Place the soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, egg and oil in the stand mixer and mix.
80 g spreadable butter
80 g sugar
8 g vanilla sugar
1 pinch fine salt
1 egg
11 g oil (neutral, e.g. sunflower oil)

Add the whole milk and yeast mixture and the flour and mix for approx. 3 minutes - first slowly, then at high speed.

380 g all purpose flour

Cover the yeast dough and leave to rest in a warm place for approx. 50 minutes.

Place the dough on the work surface and form 3-8 balls, coat with butter and place in a greased loaf tin.

Cover the loaf tin and leave to rise again in a warm place for approx. 30 minutes.

Place the brioche in the oven preheated to

°C
and bake for 30 minutes.

Brush the finished bread with a mixture of butter and milk while still hot and leave to cool on a wire rack.
