Our popular ice cream recipe with yogurt and a little sugar for a refreshing strawberry yogurt ice cream. Whether you use fresh strawberries or defrosted frozen strawberries, this strawberry ice cream tastes simply delicious. Instructions
First put whipped cream, yogurt and juice of a freshly squeezed lemon in a tall mixing bowl and mix well with a hand blender.
250 g whipped cream
350 g yogurt plain whole milk
10 g lemon
Then add sugar and maple syrup and mix.
35 g sugar
20 g maple syrup
If you want the ice cream to be a little creamier, you can add glucose powder (dextrose). If you don't have any dextrose powder at home, you can skip this step.
5 g glucose powder
Blend the yogurt-cream mixture briefly with a hand blender until a homogeneous mixture is formed and then add the strawberries (without juice when defrosted ones, without leaves when fresh ones).
400 g strawberries
Now mix the strawberry-yogurt-cream mixture well for about 2-3 minutes until a consistent mixture has formed and there are already slight air bubbles from the hand blender.
Then pour this mixture into the ice cream maker and chill and mix according to the ice cream maker's instructions.
Depending on the ice cream maker, the cooling time and production time of the delicious and simple yogurt ice cream takes around 10-20 minutes.
Pour the finished ice cream into beautiful bowls, decorate with fresh fruit, sauces, chocolate or Smarties and crumbles and enjoy.
Notes
Tip: The ice cream can easily be stored in the freezer for several days afterwards.Please note: If you want to eat the ice cream again afterwards, it will take a little longer to defrost (compared to ice cream from the supermarket), but it will taste all the better for it.
