Delicious and easy waffle batter recipe for crunchy waffles without milk. Waffles recipe with water and sparkling water for lactose intolerance and for extra crunchy waffles on the stick.

Instructions
Mix flour, sugar, soft butter (not directly from the refrigerator), vanilla sugar, baking powder, eggs and water until the dough has become a nice mass.
250 g all purpose flour
150 g sugar
140 g spreadable butter
2 tsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
100 ml water, still
Pour batter into preheated waffle iron and leave in waffle iron for a few minutes, depending on browning preference.
Remove finished waffles from waffle iron with a soft lifter and let cool slightly on a cooling rack.
Serve waffles with powdered sugar, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, hot cherries or other fruit.

Notes
For even more flavor, you can use lemonade instead of sparkling water. This gives the waffles a little more zing.
