Our recipe for yeast cake with apple as a sheet cake recipe with crumbles. A simple and delicious crumble cake recipe with applesauce, quickly homemade as a delicious cake on Sunday, also suitable for beginners.
First, gently fold the yeast into the flour and stir gently.
500 g all purpose flour
7 g instant yeast
Then add the sugar, medium eggs, milk, margarine (or butter), vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.
100 g sugar
125 g margarine, vegetable
250 ml whole milk
3 eggs
8 g vanilla sugar
1 pinch fine salt
Mix well with the stand mixer (dough hook) until a firm dough is formed.
Then let the dough rise for an hour (warm place - without drafts). Start 60 minutes timer here
The dough should have doubled in the meantime. Then spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (and baking frame).
Now preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Topping
Spread the entire package or jar of applesauce on the dough (you can also choose real apples or other fruit).
710 g apple sauce
In a fresh mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and margarine and mix with a stand mixer (regular dough hook) until small balls are formed - add more flour if needed.
300 g all purpose flour
150 g sugar
200 g margarine, vegetable
16 g vanilla sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
Spread crumbles over applesauce.
Now place the tray of crumble cake on the middle shelf in the oven and bake at 200 °C for about 30-40 minutes. Start 30 minutes timer here
Let the cake cool on the baking tray after baking (place the tray on a wire rack).
